You would've been 61 today. It seems like it was just yesterday when we celebrated your birthday at Friday's, even though a year has passed since then. Today, Dad, sis-in-law Weng, brother Manny, in-law Evelyn and nephew Rejn celebrated at our home in Cavite, with Dad's pinapaitan and pakbet, plus food that we bought in ATC - chicken from Savory, palabok from Razon's, maki and tempura from Tokyo Tokyo. You would've loved it, but we knew you were there in spirit. I miss you to the core of my being. This is one of the most difficult times in my life and I need you badly. But don't worry about me. I try to be strong every day, hour, minute, second. I'm sure you had an awesome party there in heaven. Have a glass of your favorite white wine for me, will you? I love you.
